The Los Angeles Area Organized Retail Crimes Association is a non profit organization supported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The organization provides a communication platform between law enforcement and private retail industry investigators in an effort to solve large scale retail crimes. The majority of these crimes are committed by organized groups, which create losses to the retailer and deprive the state of tax dollars.
